Happy Hearts are Open Hearts

     When your heart is opens, you recognize your connection to the universe (source): you have a direct realization that life is good.

The ancient yogis considered the heart to be an energy center that is the core of the Divine within you. On a physical level, opening the heart 

center counterbalances the hunched posture you may have from working on the computer or driving. It can also lift your spirits and assist 

in lessening the symptoms of depression. A great way to open your heart and experiance the benefits would be to practice the following 

yoga poses:

 

Cobra Pose

Bow Pose

Upward Bow Pose

Camel Pose

Fish Pose and

Bridge Pose

 

Be sure to hold each pose for 5 deep breaths,

keep your sides long and heads of 

your upper arm bones back, and

lower the tips of your shoulder blades curling in tword your heart.
